First of all, let's know about the raw materials used in the production of high and low pressure plastic bags: PE (polyethene), plastic bag, plastic wrap, etc. are all made by PE.  

There are three main types of PE commonly used to make plastic bags: HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE.  

HDPE refers to "HighDensity Polyethylene", HighDensity Polyethylene is non-toxic, tasteless, odorless white particles, melting point of about 130℃, the relative density of 0.941~0.960.  It has excellent heat resistance and cold resistance, excellent chemical stability, but also has high rigidity and toughness, excellent mechanical strength.  Dielectric properties, environmental stress cracking resistance is also excellent.  Therefore, plastic bags made of HDPE are soft and transparent, but their strength is slightly poor. It is not suitable for packaging angular and heavy items, because its edges and angles are easy to puncture plastic bags.  Low pressure polyethylene, also known as high density polyethylene, makes plastic bags that are slightly softer and less transparent, but stronger, suitable for heavy packaging and angular items.  This is what we call a low-pressure plastic bag.   

General low density PE (LDPE) and linear low density PE (LLDPE) belong to low density PE, among which LLDPE is more widely used.  

LDPE is mainly used for film products, but also for injection molding products, medical devices, drugs and food packaging materials, blow molding hollow molding products, etc.  

LLDPE (linear low Density Polyethylene).  LLDPE as raw material to produce products non-toxic, tasteless, odorless, milky particles.  Compared with LDPE, LLDPE has the advantages of high strength, good toughness, strong rigidity, heat resistance, cold resistance, but also has good resistance to environmental stress cracking, tear strength and other properties, and can resist acid, alkali, organic solvents, etc.  Therefore, plastic bags produced by LLDPE are hard, feel good, opaque, waxy white, not easy to break, thin bags have good strength, not easy to wear.  This is what we call a high-pressure plastic bag.
