A membranous metal paper coated or affixed with a film resembling silver, usually silvery white, actually aluminum foil.  Aluminum foil, made of Aluminium foil with a thickness of less than 0.2mm, is mainly used in kitchens to cook, hold food and make materials that can be easily cleaned.  Thousands of tons of aluminum foil are applied around the world to protect and wrap food, cosmetics and chemicals.
