Why does the sandwich foil back need to make the honeycomb?

The foil back- side in the honeycomb design is made by the lamination machines. There only glue the honeycomb when combining the foil and paper. Thus create foil and paper will have much spacing. So why use the honeycomb on the foil back then?

The interspace of the honeycomb pattern could lock the heat of the wrapped food, which will maintain hot longer. At the same time, aluminum foil has a good insulation effect. Thus the honeycomb foil wrapper is a perfect package for sandwiches and other takeaway food.

Normally the foil backing paper size structure is aluminum foil and paper. If combine the foil and paper with full glue. The  foil paper will not be able to be the same soft touch feeling as the honeycomb foil. The foil wrapper with honeycomb is easier to wrap for food. Foil wrapper with honeycomb is cheaper than foil paper will full glue.
